GhettoGloss Fare Details

Popsicle joke of the day:

What do skeletons say before they begin dining? A: Bone appetite!

Good morning ladies, dolls, daddy-os, freakshows and creepshows!

Be forewarned! Although since you are already here you're stuck so... be notified as the case may be. I will probably post this numerous times in the next coming weeks. Kind of like a countdown! Fun, huh?

I have finally FINALLY finallllyyYYYY (Break into song and dance) made it to a half-way point in my interstate move. If you can call it a move that is. It's more of as opposed to the prior custody agreement between CA and AZ where I twiddled my time, now NM will be added to the VIP list. I can't wait! More on that, Millie and the Etsy shop later...

So as some of you may know and as all of you SHOULD know, I will be attending the upcoming Ghettogloss Gallery's annual flea market art festival crafts and vintage ho down. I'm super excited! I have plans to take Felix (my RESIN cat skeleton so shut that jaw), some heavy maroon velvet curtains bound by ridiculously over sized golden tassels, lots of bats, roses and skulls, oh my! Hopefully it will be very a very gaudy grand presentation that is anything but cheesy and tacky. However that looks like it may be a very thin line haha. I will be shooting for more of a circus of oddities, old librarian cataloguing of specimens, french boudoir appeal as opposed to the many tick takidies that can arise from this type of booth.

Here's some details and some flyers:

(Additional different additional flyers, more pictures including those of merchandise that's to be sold there, and information to be posted in the upcoming weeks.)

East Side shoppers seeking the offbeat need not despair this holiday season, for the gals at Ghettogloss have heard their flea-market pleas. Every weekend through December 21, Silverlake's vibrant bazaar hawks everything from crafts to collectibles, and from designer pet wear to tarot readings. Located at the intersection of Silverlake and Glendale Blvds, the market calls out to artists, record collectors, vintage shoppers, and the frugal alike. And with a portion of the proceeds donated to the construction of Silver Lake's new library, there won't be any reason to feel guilty after buying yourself that gigantic homemade ceramic ashtray, even if you don't smoke. – Tanja Laden

Every Weekend from Nov 15th thru Dec 21st,Ghettogloss will be producing a holiday fair at the intersection of Glendale and Silverlake Blvd. Indie crafters will be showing their goods. There will be local artists mixed in along with the best of vintage collectibles, vintage clothing, and retro furniture. Did we mention plants, succulents, a Tarot card reader, tattoos, skulls, vintage, craft, clothing, art and a lady who does energy work on animals???? This is gonna be so much fun! Support the local indie vendors this holiday season.Wanna vend? Call us directly at 323 912 0008 for more info. You can also email us at ghettogloss@ghettogloss.com.

I will be attending ONLY THE WEEKEND OF DECEMBER DEC 14

So let's have a Valentine's in winter and show some love. I really hope I'll see you there! Stop by and say hi! Just look for the tent of overshot ideas :)
